SC SUSTAINABLE INDONESIA
Our Services
End-to-end carbon project development support for project owners in Indonesia—from project registration and early-stage assessment to project documentation, independent assessment coordination, registry readiness, responsible market engagement, and long-term collaboration.
01
Project Registration & Initial Intake
We support project owners through initial project registration and intake by organising core project information, defining the proposed project area and development objectives, and identifying the data and documents required before the Pre-Feasibility Study (Pre-FS).
- Project owner profile and development objectives
- Initial project boundary and land-tenure information
- Preliminary identification of the proposed project activity
- Data and document readiness for Pre-FS
02
Pre-Feasibility Study (Pre-FS)
An initial screening of the proposed site to assess project suitability, preliminary carbon potential, indicative development costs, and key tenure, social, environmental, and implementation risks.
- Preliminary screening of potential REDD+, ARR, or IFM activities
- Initial baseline, additionality, and leakage considerations
- High-level carbon potential and indicative cost scenarios
- Land-tenure, safeguards, and FPIC readiness
Deliverable: Pre-FS assessment and preliminary map package.
03
Feasibility Study (FS)
A comprehensive assessment of the project’s technical, environmental, social, and financial viability to support an informed development decision.
- Detailed baseline and carbon assessment
- Field data and carbon-stock sampling plan
- Social, tenure, and benefit-sharing assessment
- Financial model and implementation roadmap
Deliverable: Feasibility Study report and implementation roadmap.
04
Project Design Document (PDD)
Preparation of project documentation aligned with the applicable carbon standard and methodology, including carbon accounting, safeguards, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring requirements.
- Methodology selection and applicability demonstration
- Conservative carbon quantification, leakage, and non-permanence analysis
- Safeguards, stakeholder engagement, and FPIC documentation
- MRV plan, data management, GIS, maps, and monitoring framework
Deliverable: Complete PDD and supporting technical documentation.
05
VVB Coordination & Assessment Support
We support project owners in preparing for assessment by an independent Validation and Verification Body (VVB), including document and evidence organisation, assessment coordination, and responses to findings or clarification requests.
- Document and assessment-readiness review
- Evidence compilation and data-room organisation
- Response support for findings and clarification requests
- Coordination with the appointed independent VVB
06
